Right of Return

Information on the right to return pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 21/2014 implementing Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, amending Directives 93/13/EEC and 1999/44/EC and repealing Directives 85/577/EEC and 97/7/EC.

The Consumer is acknowledged the right to withdraw from the contract concluded, without any penalty, for any reason whatsoever and without having to justify his decision in any way, within the term of 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which the Consumer receives the product. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer is obliged, within the term referred to in the previous paragraph, to inform the Seller of his decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an explicit declaration. For the same purpose, the Consumer may also electronically complete and send to the Seller the withdrawal form present on the Website; in the event he chooses said option, the Seller shall promptly send the Consumer a confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium. Within the following 14 days the Consumer must return the Products to the Seller, by sending or delivering them to Alta Meta s.r.l. Eshop Logistic Srl, Via I Maggio, 1 - 20070 San Zenone al Lambro (MI) - Italy, clearly indicating the relative return code. The risks and transport costs relating to the return of the Products to the Seller shall be borne by the Consumer.

In order for the right of withdrawal to be validly exercised, the Products must be delivered or in any event delivered to the Seller, undamaged and unused. The Products must be returned in their original packaging and must be sent to the Seller in a single shipment. Products ordered in the same order must be returned at the same time and sent in a single shipment. Once it has been verified that the products have been returned in the conditions described above, the Seller shall proceed to issue the refund agreed upon between the Consumer and the Seller.

The reimbursement referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be made, where possible, by the same means of payment used by the Consumer at the time of purchase of the Product or by means of a bank transfer in favour of the Consumer; it shall be the responsibility of the Consumer to notify the Seller, by e-mail to ccare@designmania.it of the bank details to make the transfer in his favour and to ensure that the Seller is put in the condition to be able to return the amount due. If payment was made by credit card, the previously mentioned refund shall be made within the terms indicated directly by re-crediting the sum due to the credit card used by the Consumer for payment. If the payment was made by PayPal, the previously mentioned refund shall be made within the terms indicated directly by re-crediting the sum due to the account used by the Consumer for the payment.

The Seller may withhold such refund until it has received the Products (and the verification of the returned Products has been successful). In any event, the costs of returning the Products to the Seller, including shipping, any duties or other taxes, shall be borne by the Consumer.


REFUNDS FOR NON-COMPLIANCE

In the event that the withdrawal from the contract is due to the proven non-conformity of the products, the Consumer must contact Customer Service through the contact form or by email to ccare@designmania.it, providing an adequate description of what was found and all the detailed photographic material (relating to the packaging and the product) required by Customer Service. Any refunds will be issued only after appropriate evaluations and verifications. The Products must be delivered or in any case returned to the Seller, undamaged and unused. The Products must be returned in their original packaging and must be sent to the Seller in a single shipment. Products ordered in the same order must be returned at the same time and sent in a single shipment.

Once it has verified that the products have been returned in the conditions described above, the Vendor shall proceed to issue the refund agreed upon between the Consumer and the Vendor.

The Seller shall reimburse the Consumer for all payments made by the latter, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from the Consumer choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by the Seller).


CANCELLATIONS

In the event of cancellations due to changes of mind or errors on the part of the consumer, the consumer shall promptly notify the seller of the decision.

  • ORDER NOT YET SHIPPED: the order will be cancelled and the order refunded.
  • ORDER RECEIVED BY THE WAREHOUSE OR BY THE CARRIER: it will not be possible to cancel the order. In this case, the consumer must refuse the delivery and will only be refunded the cost of the product and not the shipping costs.

The refund will be made once it has been verified that the products have been returned in their original packaging, undamaged, unassembled and unused.


ORDER CHANGES

It is not possible to make changes to the addresses communicated in the order. Should there be any kind of error, it is however important to communicate this via messaging. The seller will attempt to communicate the new address to the courier, however, delivery is not guaranteed.

In the event that delivery is unsuccessful, the order will be returned to the sender, in which case only the value of the product will be reimbursed - shipping costs to the customer and for the return will not be reimbursed.
